We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance and Administration Assistant with experience in MYOB software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting, payroll processing, managing fixed assets and inventory, and performing general administrative duties. This role requires a proactive individual with strong multitasking abilities and a keen eye for accuracy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting: o Prepare and generate financial reports using MYOB software. o Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. o Support in budget preparation and variance analysis. 2. Payroll Management: o Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. o Maintain payroll records and ensure proper filing of all payroll-related documents. o Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve issues promptly. 3. Fixed Assets and Inventory Management: o Maintain and update the fixed assets register, ensuring accurate recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. o Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. o Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring proper documentation and reporting. 4. Administration: o Perform general administrative duties including filing, record-keeping, and document management. o Handle correspondence, phone calls, and other communications as required. o Assist in organizing meetings, events, and travel arrangements. 5. Compliance and Record-Keeping: o Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. o Maintain and organize financial records, both electronic and paper- based, for easy retrieval. o Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and other compliance activities. 6. Other Duties: o Perform other finance and administration tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or other senior staff. o Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance and administration functions. Qualifications:  Proven experience working with MYOB software.  A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.  Experience in payroll processing and understanding of payroll regulations.  Strong knowledge of fixed assets and inventory management.  Excellent organizational and time-management skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.  Good communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications:  Previous experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized enterprise.  Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements.  Experience with additional accounting or ERP software is a plus.
